Every member of the Association is entitled to attend the AGM and is encouraged to take an active part in the proceedings.  To clarify, a member of the Association is the person named on the Sub-tenancy Agreement and this is reflected in the list of names and addresses that the Treasurer holds. 
Nominations for Officers of the Association
All members have the right to stand for election as an officer, the posts available for 2010-2011 for nominations are:  Chair (overall Association policies, overall site condition, welfare of members); Vice-Chair (assisting the Chair); Treasurer (production of annual bills, plot letting, arranging supplies and services, accounts); and Secretary (notes from meetings, communication with members, membership record keeping). Members wishing to be an officer need to be proposed and seconded at the meeting, and in the event of more than one candidate for a position there will be an election by a simple show of hands.

Volunteers to join the committee are always very welcome.

Questions from the floor
Members wishing to ask a question from the floor in the meeting should let the Secretary know the subject in advance in writing, stating your name and plot number.

Report from Working Party on Saturday 12th December 2009

Thank you to all the Members* who came along to re-discover the overgrown pathway between plots 2 to 13 and 14 to 25.  The weather was kind and the path is now visible and clear.
